Ep. 52 Quantum Languaging: Co-create Your Reality Using The Power of Words with Dani Katz
“Alas, words are infinitely more complex entities, each encrypted with a unique vibrational frequency that is itself coded with metadata that affects our emotional, energetic and psychological bodies...” ~ Dani Katz
We’re getting nitty giddy with our words with Dani Katz, LA-based writer, artist and Quantum Languaging coach/consultant and author of The New P. Handbook, Vol. 1: Little Languaging Hacks for Big Change. She is on a mission to shift the paradigm with the power of our words.
You’ll hear Dani’s story of waking up in the middle of the night with spontaneous paralyzation that led her to this awakening to the power of languaging and words. We talk about our subconscious minds and how it creates our reality and the most sabotaging words in our language and which words to use instead. Dani talks about mind “viruses”, how she uplifts her own mood and thoughts, how to upgrade your beliefs, and what it takes to shift our life experience as embodied beings on Earth.
If you’ve been experiencing stuckness and self sabotaging patterns, this is one episode to listen to and pay attention to what comes up for you and where language patterns can shift in your own world.
Show Notes
In this episode, we discuss:
How Dani woke up in the middle of night with paralyzation out of nowhere that knocked her down which led her to serendipitously find a book she had never seen before: Hidden Language Codes by R Neville Johnston
How words and the language codes began to show themselves to Dani and how it has shifted her life experience
How Dani overcame her paralyzation and get her spine back in place without surgery
Words are encoded with metadata and each word vibrates with unique frequencies that affects us on all levels
How our subconscious mind creates 95%+ of our reality and we are deliberate co-creators of our experience, and how our subconscious is programmed through language
How the Universe takes our beliefs and patterns as directions and directives
How “should” actually means “I know more than you/I have authority over you” is steeped in hierarchy, which is a paradigm we are moving away from and into a new paradigm of unity, inclusivity, peace, and abundance
How words are key for ushering us into a new paradigm
The most sabotaging words in our language and which words to use instead
The power of words in self-talk and how to identify where we are sabotaging ourselves
How saying “I don’t have time” gives your power away… to time
How Dani has experienced depression and tried all the things - but what pulls her out of darkness are the words she’s using in her thoughts
What you can do to start tracking your limiting beliefs and rewrite the “upgrade”
What to do when you catch yourself in a negative thought or belief
How tapping and making up songs helps to support Dani shifting her frequency
What “upper limit issues” are and the importance of being brutally honest with ourselves, plus examples of this in Dani’s own life
What Dani’s favorite word “Omniscopic” means and why it’s amazing
How the conscious mind is literal, which makes words like “limitless” problematic
Dani’s perspective on “identity” and how we’re moving toward a more unified global community
Practices and hacks for shifting your self-talk

We enter a lush emerald garden, a faerie garden. And as we enter, we are seen, recognized yet watched with distance and cautious attention. It’s been a long time…
The emerald beauty is astounding, illuminescent, light beings flying back and forth, flowers of all colors, magic and wonder.
We look to the floor upon which we walk and there are colorful snakes laid about. There is no fear, these are friendly, we must take care not step on them. They share marvelous colors too, like yellow and green skins.
Is this a return to Eden?
We are brought in front of a tree hollow, the darkness veiled with a curtain of lush vines. It feels like a sanctuary, and a green being, a sprite shows herself. She connect with our 3rd eye and a transmission takes place... a green light is spread throughout our subtle energy body and our physical body, lighting up pathways. What is transmitted?
Knowledge of the emerald wisdom. The tablets, the ancient ways. She whispers in our ear “Go forth and spread this knowledge, illuminate like a vine that runs thru us all.”
She kisses me. The kiss of life. And in so doing, the roots of the tree light up and spreads, expands, the kiss of remembrance, that we are a key, we are a piece of the puzzle, and we must “plug in”.
Our mind and emotions are high-jacked, subverted. We must take our power back. And plug into the matrix of truth. We must not forget our power to do this.
How? I ask...
Imagination and play. This is a fast way to plug back in. what did you believe and what did you see as a child. Revisit this. Cultivate wonder and awe. She says that we are mirror reflections, beyond the veil. Our programmings, media, thought forms, these are cages created in the mind. They create blockades, impermeable boundaries that restrict us, they must be cleared and opened so that the channels of perception are clear.
We have the tendency to fill the void. Filling every moment. When there is space, we can see our dirty laundry, it surfaces and that can be painful. We want to avoid, stuff, hide, fill, cover up. Allow the mind to wander, then follow it like a curious journalist. Where does it go? What does it say? This will peel back the sheath that is disguiding and covering up the circuitry... the wiring.
Does it feel painful to have space where you “do nothing”? This is an indication that there is avoidance.... Usually justified by “important tasks and duties”.
Expansion vs contraction. Feelings of expansion activate memory of home, our true state and nature - our expansive breadth. The contraction within this dense material body is not easy. We must learn to navigate and assess these contractive feelings. Is it the squeeze we feel going thru the birth canal just before we enter into a new level of expansion, freedom, way of being? Or is it the contraction that is more permanent, limiting, putting us in a box... or coffin? This is also how we may navigate fear which can feel contractive.
Dreamworld. Working with dreams in your sleeping life is a good place to begin your work, especially if you are not ready to give yourself space in your waking life. Set intentions to remember your dreams and keep journal by your side. You may have an open intention or choose a specific focused question or intention to work with for a week to start. Keep materials by the bed, a journal, a way to record audio if you can speak, a light (preferably without blue light) so you can write, etc. I’m told there will be a seed planted for each of us this month as we do our dream work. Discover it.
A DREAMY INVITATION:
I’m told there will be a seed planted for each of us this month as we do our dream work, and we are invited to discover it...
So this week, join me in a nightly #FYWDreams Challenge!

Dancing. In the meadows among the nature spirits, feels like a pagan celebration, dancing around a fire... calling in the spirit helpers, the guides, Mama Earth... Dancing is relationship, it’s communication, it’s telling of a story. Dancing around a fire, we see Pan... the horned deity dancing and playing music, blowing into his wind instrument and looking at us looking at him.
This scene is then interrupted by a large rip - as if it were a page being torn apart, a rip in the space time continuum, revealing a backdrop of pure light that fills the space until there is only light. This filling of light... it is a space that can only be described as the All... the opposite of what would be the void or darkness... the All expressed in pure light, containing every potential that can possibly exist.
This light-emanating All-ness is interrupted by what feels like a blinking... as if we are in and out of a dream-state... awakening from a long sleep... a coma... yet there is confusion as to what is “real” and “reality” and what is “dream”... I get the sense that we can not know or “trust” what we “see” to be real or not... so we must turn to our feeling sense, one of the senses we have as embodied beings that can support us in making sense of what is happening and our environment. This is not always perfect, as we are not perfect in our perception, but it is the best we have right now. So the question is always what feels “right”, and “true”?
There is distortion and illusion that is being torn down currently... we are collectively in a state of confusion and an unknowing in the old way, old sense. This state of confusion and unknowing is necessary to usher us into a new way of “knowing”.
The vision I receive is of a baby bird that is pushed out of its nest high in a tree... the only home and existence it has ever known, and thrust into this expansive open world, falling and falling not being told what to do or where to go or what is happening. Yet it is necessary so that we may learn that we have wings - we have the equipment to fly, to save ourselves. But the only way to know and learn to use them is by having no net, no plan, no instructions, and the specific circumstance of needing them. In this way we get out of our thinking mind, out of our conscious waking mind, and surrender to the programmed universal intelligence that is there all along, we open our wings and learn that we have them. We catch the wind and begin to glide and flap and realize we can move and flow with that which we previously perceived as inevitable pathway to death or something like it.
I receive the vision of Pan pouring ash or some powdered substance into the fire... and in doing so, we are able to see visions within the fire. Working with the fire as a divination partner. What are these ashes? The old crumbs, waste that we’ve accumulated... the old ways and aspects that we have already decided to let go, but haven’t truly “cut the cord” yet... this is the time for a true breakaway. A true release, throwing into the fire, so that we receive the insight awaiting us.
Tarot Card Pull: Temperance, 10 of Wands, & Wheel of Fortune
LOVE. Love weaves the net as you are falling. It creates the safety catch net where there was none before. We are invited to ask ourselves: Where do you feel most challenge, struggle, or void of love in your life experience? That is the exact place where it is needed... where we need to create our web and net as we free fall and learn to use our wings.
Pay attention to the feelings and stories that come up when you begin to bring love into these certain areas. Simply notice. You don’t have to DO anything. We are invited to simply observe - but truly observe. Be open to receive truth in this process so that we may learn to “see.”

Ep. 47 The Medicine of Place: Place-Based Herbalism, Imaginative Realms, & Land Connection with Tyler Wauters
In this interview, we’re speaking with Tyler Wauters, a teacher, naturalist, herbalist, wild-crafter, and co-founder of Hawthorn Institute…
“We need to engage in these relationships to help inform us on how we take care of a place… and how do we practice environmentalism? How do we become stewards of the land? And how do we tend to our body and tend to those around us? We have to take that out of the books and out of the classroom and really apply it for ourselves and have that direct experience.”
In this interview, we’re speaking with Tyler Wauters, a teacher, naturalist, herbalist, wild-crafter, and co-founder of Hawthorn Institute. Tyler reminds us of the critical importance of place and land connection as it relates to not only our own health, but the health of the whole - environment, plants, people, and future generations. We dive into the imaginative realms of Tyler’s childhood, his serendipitous journey onto the plant path, and ways we can begin to build relationship with place.
You’ll hear about the “sacred chemical ecology” of living organisms and how you can connect with an entire forest and ecosystem with a single “communicator” plant ally. You’ll also learn more about the offerings at Hawthorn Institute (the school I wish was available when I first started my journey!).
Tyler has been a program director and core-faculty member of the Hawthorn Institute since 2013, Tyler has also taught for the Herb Pharm Herbaculture program since 2008. He teaches a wide variety of topics ranging from, Wildcrafting, Wild Foods, Ceremony, Bio-regional human and natural history, Ayurveda, and Botany. Tyler has devoted his life to the practice of community herbalism and he brings his passion and knowledge of nature into everything he shares. Tyler’s intention is to ignite deeper connections to place, people, and plants.
Tyler has studied with Frank Cook, 7song, Isla Burgess, Sonia Masocco, Dr. Vasant Lad, and Dr. Claudia Welch. He thanks all of his mentors for sharing life’s wisdom.
Show Notes
In this episode, we discuss:
How Tyler came into Ayurveda, herbalism, and wild-crafting and describes his childhood as living in the imaginative realm
How the weeping willow was Tyler’s first plant ally of many to come
How serendipity in Asheville, Carolina led to his first foray into herbalism with a flower essence course
Frank Cook, Tyler’s first mentor who set him forward on the path that he is still on today
Tyler describes the place he inhabits now, the water ways, and native peoples of the land - Klamath Siskiyou bioregion, the regional rivers, and tribes that have existed on the land: Tututni, Tolowa, Latgawa, Takelma Dine, Yurok, Karuk, Shasta and so many more
A really important aspect of place-based herbalism is doing research and learning about place - the human and natural history and becoming a participant in your local ecology and relationships around you
Draw on those connections and relationships to illuminate how we might relate and work with a plant

Solo Episode: DECEMBER 2018 :: Akashic Soul Nourishment Reading :: Heart-Centered Grace & Gentle Pace
About Monthly Soul Nourishment Readings: These readings are usually filled with metaphor & symbols, so may require a bit of unraveling & might mean something different for each person, so pay attention to what comes up for you as you listen on. Hope they provide value and moments of reflection in your journey.
The message for December is: SLOW over go go go. Simplify to expand. We are being led and guided by our own embodied senses. These are our gifts.
What is that one thread that you can begin to pull, and weave into this beautiful deep rich tapestry in your life?
In this Akashic reading, we are guided by two deer in a forest...
Deer Medicine
Two deer appear in the forest.
Pure presence. Heightened senses. Deep connection with surroundings.
Ability to HEAR acutely, SMELL finely, SEE keenly, TASTE impeccably
No map, nowhere to go, so that you may know...
Who you are, and who you are becoming, deliberately.
A call for us to re-member our innate abilities and capacities for navigating ourselves with the help of our surroundings...
It is the process of dropping in, and tuning in, that creates our destination.
Deer medicine is closely related to the heart, compassion and allowing ourselves to drop into this space and allow our hearts to lead us. We are also called to open up our embodied senses and sensitivities, and pay attention to what we consume.
Working together
Collaboration is our true nature, we are in this unseen pilgrimage together.
We are meant to use our faculties and embodied senses.
Individualism is an illusion - we are walking on a path together.
The good news...
All of these faculties and abilities are already innate within us.
We simply need to cultivate the space for us to get back into tune with them.
SLOW over Go Go Go
Be gentle and deliberate with your pace. Honor the Slowness.
Slow is medicine for this month.
Turn the dial DOWN on tempo, thoughts, scattered energy...
And turn the volume UP on your senses, engage with your breath.
Step into stillness with your surroundings.
Breathe in and savor these sacred moments.
Ways we can tune back into our heart, walk this gentle pace, open up our senses and connect with this innate guidance system and knowing, tuning into the greater collective:
Bring your focus to just ONE thing... simplify to expand.
We are integrating within our own cells ALL of the collective experiences of that which we are consuming. Pay attention to what you allow inside of your body.
We are a culmination of all that we consume, in all ways, with all of our senses.
What are you consuming lately?
We are being led and guided by our embodied senses. These are our gifts.
Suggestions:
Choose ONE thing that will help you drop into our innate embodied senses and SLOW down
Join Wildly UNSTUCK: Mapping the Mindset of Health to begin the process of unraveling the blocks and get out of your own way

Ep. 41 Connecting with Your Ancestors & Reclaiming a Sense of Belonging with Becca Piastrelli
“Working with my hands, being with women, and looking at who I came from, and the practices of them, has been the holy trinity of me feeling a deep sense of belonging that sugar and Netflix never could fill.” ~ Becca Piastrelli
Having just observed Thanksgiving Day in the US, a holiday that can be polarizing in its reminder of historical atrocities yet celebrated as a time of gratitude and family connection, this interview with Becca Piastrelli is both timely and meaningful. In an age of DNA tests and Google, Becca shares ways in which we can connect with our own ancestors more deeply, and face uncomfortable truths with integrity, curiosity and compassion.
In this interview, Becca shows us how the systems we live in (i.e. capitalism, patriarchy, etc) perpetuate loneliness, disconnection, and “not enough-ness,” and illuminate the importance of ancestral connection in reclaiming a sense of Belonging today. Becca shares her personal journey with ancestral work, how she is making reparations for colonizer ancestors, & how to connect with ancestors beyond giving a DNA sample.
We dive deep into the many ways to connect to your ancestors & re-weave the threads that tie us to all those who came before us, such as embracing spiralic time and physically going to the places they once were.
Becca is a writer, womxn's coach, and host of the Belonging podcast. She holds space for womxn to explore ancestral wisdom, connect with the earth, and find meaningful and inclusive sisterhood.
Show Notes
In this episode, we discuss:

How we live in the most prosperous times yet humanity feels more lonely than ever before
Mouse study in addiction: Rat Park experiment conducted by Bruce Alexander

How Becca believes we can cultivate a deeper sense of resilience by looking at our ancestors and ancestral ways
How Becca got inspired to looking at her own ancestry, and how making things with her hands was a deeper calling, evoking a longing to return to sisterhood
Cultural appropriation in spiritual communities - exploration of why she too participated in it, and that it ultimately stemmed from loneliness
Becca’s own pilgrimage returning to the lands of her ancestors
How DNA tests fit into all of it, and the inherent privilege in being able to take a DNA test as a person of european descent
How to honor your ancestry, cultivate a deeper connection with your ancestors
The surprising thing Becca found out about her own ancestral lineage
How discussions about race and ancestry can lead to a “freeze” response, and yet we have the ability to move through it and make reparations
What Becca has to say to those that claim “we don’t need to feel bad for what dead men did.”
How to turn shame into action and allyship, and ways to make reparations
How to begin connecting with the indigenous people of the land you are occupying, and the ways to support them
The ways Becca is making reparations, honoring and connecting with the people of the lands her family has occupied

What is ancestral non-linear time, i.e. spiralic, circular, whole time consciousness
How language can inform concept of time, and contextualizes life experiences
The practice of chronos vs chiros time, and how Becca infuses ancestral time using these principles

Ep. 37 How To Bring Balance To Your Home, Health + Life Using The Art Of Feng Shui With Anjie Cho
Love this podcast? Subscribe over on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or Spotify and never miss an episode!
“Practicing Feng Shui is a way to have mindfulness in respect to your surroundings - all of the little details impact your wellbeing, your stress levels and how you show up in the world.” ~ Anjie Cho
Consider for a moment that everything in your environment, what I call your Sacred Ecology, plays a role in creating the conditions for growing the YOU that stands as yourself today and the future (whether we like it or not)… While it may not feel like it initially, this is a highly empowering thing to grasp.
Why? Because now YOU get to check and cultivate an ecology that you desire so you can thrive TODAY and tomorrow. It’s never too late to change our story... And that’s why creating holistic spaces is critical for our wellbeing.
Our guest today Anjie Cho, green architect, feng shui expert, and author of Holistic Spaces, says that through observing and shifting the built environment, feng shui (an ancient Asian art of placement) teaches us how to live in harmony with nature. Feng shui adjustments can bring balance to your home, health and life because the principles are founded upon cycles and patterns of nature and ancient knowledge.
Today in our conversation with Anjie, we cover what feng shui actually means and it’s importance related to creating a holistic home. Anjie shares about her journey from exhaustion starting her own business and the big leaps she committed to making that led to greater ease and success in her career
She breaks down the foundational principles of Feng Shui including the Bagua map, themes, elements, colors, and gives us tips on how to boost the area of nourishment, wealth, and prosperity with small tweaks in your home space.
This was such a fun and illuminating interview with lots of easy and practical tips, PLUS we are having a Feed Your Wild x Holistic Spaces giveaway!

Ep. 36 NOVEMBER :: Akashic Soul Nourishment Reading :: Find Your RHYTHM + Be the Dancing Rocks
Source: Pinterest
Love this podcast? Subscribe over on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or Spotify and never miss an episode.
Solo Episode: NOVEMBER 2018 :: Monthly Akashic Soul Nourishment Reading :: Find Your RHYTHM + Be the Dancing Rocks
About Monthly Soul Nourishment Readings: Just as I weave in spiritual nourishment from the Akashic Records for my clients along with their nutritional protocols on an individual basis, I’ve been inspired to start sharing these readings monthly in the podcast to support the collective with general monthly themed-readings... and so Monthly Akashic Soul Nourishment Readings were born. These readings are usually filled with metaphor & symbols, so may require a bit of unraveling & might mean something different for each person, so pay attention to what comes up for you as you listen on. Hope they provide value and moments of reflection in your journey.
The message for November is: “Allow yourself to be the dancing rock... to have the will to take action yet to be fully present and anchored in the now.”
Can you dance from that essence that is beyond the separate Self, and instead from a place of ultimate Unity? That is our work in November.
In this Akashic reading, we are guided through a 2-part session because... it was, let’s say “non-linear”.
This month, the stars, rocks, and plants are speaking to us and initiating an activation - a remembering, a deprogramming, a transmission... from Mama Earth and the stars. They will help us remember how to breathe, how to move, how to be in RHYTHM, so that we can speak on behalf of the plants, and ourselves as living interconnected beings.
We cover the concept of petrification, the energetics of limestone and how we can embody this in our dance of life. We are told how to find the antidote to the heavy, lower vibrations that we’ve been exposed to (esp this past October!). We’re also given an invitation to connect with a plant ally this month.
Show Notes
In this episode, we discuss:
The Stars guiding us like our compass, navigation guidance system, and map + the cosmos as the great unifier - we all see the same stars, moon and sun.
How the stars, rocks, and plants are speaking to us… awakening rock people from their slumber..
How Limestone has been talking to Venessa and what it’s saying...
Limestone’s energetics and relationship with animals and bone - and what that has to do with you
“Limestone though it stimulates the will to action, keeps one firmly anchored in the here and now.”
The concept of Petrification, its use throughout mythology, and how it impacts us today
Allow ourselves to be the dancing rocks, to have the will to take action yet to be fully present and anchored in the now
Plants growing up and taking hold of us... and how we are being directed by the stars and planets.
How the elements are helping us remember how to breathe, how to move, how to be in RHYTHM. So we can speak on behalf of the plant, and ourselves as living interconnected beings.
Allowing the plants, rocks, and stars to dance through us
Finding the antidote to the heavy, lower vibration that enters your being. “They Exist in polarity, opposites are an illusion. Its all a dance.”
Action Idea:
Choose 1 plant and connect with this plant daily for one full week (and full month of November if you can!). Keep a journal about your experience and the messages you receive through this process!
Ways to connect: plant sits, medicine making, tea drinking, eating in meals, communing in any way

Ep. 34 Holotropic Breathwork & Re-sacralizing the World (Within + Without) with James Frazier
“In order for us to re-sacralize the world, we have to really get back in touch with the sense of sacred within, and it can also be done by getting a sense of sacred without.” ~ James Frazier
I’m happy to share this interview audio from my archives with James Frazier, who led me in my first holotropic breathwork experience several years ago. James is one of the most experienced breathwork practitioners in the country having led Breathwork seminars throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. James has over 30 years of experience in the field of counseling and personal growth and development consulting, having studied under Dr. Stanislav Grof who developed holotropic breathwork and was in the first group to be certified by Dr. Grof to practice.
In this interview we discuss what holotropic breathwork is and why it is so powerful, James’ experience studying with Dr. Stanislav Grof and over 30 years leading workshops, plus James breaks down the history of our disconnection from nature - and what we need to do to get it back in order to save ourselves and the planet.
This conversation goes DEEP, looking at the erosion of myth in our culture, the rise of rationality and the origins of what James calls our “collective schizophrenia” that we must breakthrough in order to create a new story (hint: we need to do both our inner work and connect with nature today!)
Show Notes
In this episode, we discuss:
How James almost quit being a therapist after poor outcomes within addiction work and found holotropic breathwork by accident, changing the course of his life
How James began studying and working with Dr. Stanislav Graf and Holotropic breathwork after the 2nd most powerful experience of his life, and continued a 30+ year long career of doing holotropic breathwork
Why holotropic breathwork is a powerful and safe way for accessing the subconscious and expanded states of consciousness/awareness while also retaining ego awareness
One of the oldest techniques to go into non-ordinary states of consciousness and how it has been a part of human practices for thousands of years
Why taking a medicinal plant out of its culture and insert it into a different place and context is problematic
What is “Participatory consciousness” - looking at oneself as part of the whole cosmos rather than a detached separate observer position, operating as one unit
James’s theory on the origin of separation from nature, ritual, and the spiritual with literalization of religious text through the protestant reformation
The origins of capitalism and collapse of the mythological worldview
How the ancients viewed the stars and great philosophical issues
How the Psyche speaks in myth, story and symbol
The detriment of Descartes’ statement “I think therefore I am.”
The erosion of myth and rise of rationality - how this created a “collective schizophrenia” detaching ourselves from nature in service of capitalism
How this separation has bled into allopathic healthcare system with specialization and over-compartmentalization
The “thingification” of humans and the importance of expanded states of awareness that brings you back to wholeness
The importance of individual inner work and personal development for the collective and how James is dedicated to supporting people in cultivating that reconnection with nature
The important cycles that we have closed off from our awareness - death and rebirth, the importance of grief
How our inability to grieve also prevents us from connecting to nature
Why we don’t connect with our deepest selves because it takes us to our deepest and painful issues such as grief
James thoughts on re-storying and the critical importance of initiatory processes and rites of passages that have been lost to our detriment
How we “need to go way out and we need to go way in”, and why creation myth does just that
James’ urgent message: “We’re either going to transform or we are going to die”
Veriditas - the greening of nature
The importance of changing the sense of self to combat the tidal wave of narcissism we have today and support our reconnection to nature
More about James’ work and offerings in nature and personal growth
