1 in 2 men and 1/3 of women will have cancer in their lifetime.
What have we really achieved over multiple decades of this “war on cancer” and what can we walk away with so that we feel empowered?
I’m thrilled to have Dr. Nasha Winters on to bring us powerful wisdom and practical tips for navigating the cancer terrain. I recommend her book to everyone looking to prevent cancer or support with a cancer diagnosis. She's worked with thousands of patients and has an incredible story of recovering from stage 4 cancer herself!
We discuss what the metabolic approach to cancer is compared to the convention lens and how this approach gives you a roadmap to better understand how the body’s terrain influences cancer risk and outcomes. Dr. Nasha shares how she overcame cancer naturally and the fundamental components we need to be paying attention to when it comes to minimizing our cancer risk or reversing a cancer diagnosis - including what she considers to be our top 3 blind spots going into the next decade.
This is an episode you’ll want to listen and share with loved ones for sure!
Dr. Nasha’s first experience with cancer was at the age of 19. She was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer and given only a few months to live. The metabolic approach to cancer stems from her nearly three decades of personal and professional experience in the field of integrative oncology.
Dr. Nasha is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). She is a global healthcare authority in integrative cancer research. Dr. Nasha is a sought-after speaker and consults with physicians worldwide.
