Ep. 219 Pisces Full Moon :: Early Morning Tides of a New Earth (Solocast)

We have double the moon musings for you in this episode, covering a mini post-Virgo New Moon reflection and a current musing on this Pisces Harvest Full Moon. 

After my family journeyed with an intense bout with Covid, I’m finally able to share the messages and potent Akashic channeling that came through for the new moon, now realizing the message was meant to be a bridge between lunations, previewing influences of the watery energetics Pisces has to offer us.

From planting seeds in the grounded earthy energy of Virgo to harvesting nourishment within the vast emotional ocean of Pisces, we are also reminded of our ability to catch and release that which doesn't serve us. We’re invited to re-member the gift of sovereignty given to us by Virgo’s Virgin Goddess, and take this wholeness and Self-resourcefulness into the watery depths of our Piscean intuitive understandings and dreamscape.

We are celebrating this Mother’s Day by channeling Divine Mama energy with Empress Karen M. Rose!

Trained in Eastern and Western Herbal Medicine, Karen M. Rose created an outlet for her teachings and healing modalities with the opening of Brooklyn-based Sacred Vibes Healing and Sacred Vibes Apothecary in 2002.  Her inspiration for this work began as a child in her native home of Guyana, where she was exposed to how African, Caribbean and Latin American traditions profoundly influenced plant medicine and community healing. The legacy of these lands is the foundation of Karen’s spiritual and healing practice.

In this conversation, we cover her book The Art & Practice of Spiritual Herbalism, Karen’s history growing up in relationship with plants where there was no separation of Spirit, and how she weaves that into her work today.

Atabey is the supreme goddess of the Taínos (native peoples at the pre-Columbian era), one of two supreme deities in the Taíno religion. She was worshipped as a goddess of fresh water and fertility; she is the female entity who represents the Earth Spirit. Alternate names for the Taíno mother goddess are Iermaoakar, Apito, and Sumaiko and Taíno women prayed to Atabey to ensure a safe childbirth.

Ep. 202 {SOLO} My Wild Pregnancy Journey :: Part I Q&A

In this personal episode, I answer your questions from the @WildlyRooted Instagram survey and share my pregnancy experience, requested by popular demand. 

In this 2-part series, I’m sharing (almost) everything I’m doing in this wild pregnancy journey of mine and answering your top questions, from the physical to the mental, emotional, & especially spiritual.
