In this vulnerable Mother’s Day episode, I’m sharing some deep, personal reflections and experiences on the power of birth, illness and death for initiation, healing, and spiritual alchemy. I share bits about my own spiritual awakening process since my mom’s journey with breast cancer and ultimate passing over a decade ago. I also include some of the most supportive tools and life-enhancing resources that have assisted me in that tender, yet transformative, time.
After the death of my mother, and eventually giving birth to my own child, I’ve come to realize how intertwined these portals truly are… Rather than static events in time, death and birth continue to open us up across time and space - a spiritual alchemical process that, if we allow it, transmutes our shadows and forges our soul into pure gold.
