Serpent dragon appears, floating toward you in a dance cutting through thick muddy water, its vigorous yet graceful movement awakens a sense of unapologetic freedom... a trance.

Serpent is suited for its ever-evolving environment... shedding when necessary, suiting up with appropriate attire... wetsuit, heat resistant, flame retardant, reflective mirror-like scales shining yet deflecting what is not yours.

Nothing can stop or slow down Serpent…

Hawk is flying high over a deep canyon, but it is not hawk that beckons our attention, rather the little ant that is holding onto the shoulder of hawk as it soars thousands of feet up in the sky.

Not fully aware of what’s happening, so close to danger yet nestled in the safety of the expert avian’s feathers. At times, this kind of ignorance can be useful, shielding the ant from the worry and mind blows that can easily throw her off her path.

The journey may be treacherous at times, it is not our duty to assess or know all of the steep drops or seemingly impossible hurdles along the way. But rather, it is to do our work, focus on our abilities and instinct, keep the faith, and forge forward for the good of the larger community.  

In other words... don’t look down.

Matrilineal colonies, subterranean architects, masters of collaboration, networking, and trusting their feeling sense to guide them, ant is THE teacher of our time...

Sea serpent glides through the sinewy slimy crevice, tubular caverns... is it intestines? Birth canal? Shedding of a skin?

Stillness = potentiality. In stillness we meet the serpent dragons that encircle us. Two serpent dragons appear and circulate our body as if chasing the other’s tail. The sacred hoop. Life, death, rebirth.

You command them in your stillness. From this underworld/netherworld, you ride the sea serpent into the watery depths of ..primordial sea, riding upon her back to the surface and enter the earthly realm where beauty and destruction surround you.
