Happy New Moon, fam! We’re joined by Megan Liebmann in this Healers On The Mend episode covering the significance of this solar eclipse in the sign of Aries, as well as the New Moon, in all their fiery glory.
This eclipse and moon continue this theme of initiatory energy and call extra attention to the importance of healthy boundaries, knowing thyself, and which "fires" to tend and which to extinguish.
We cover the energetic influences of fiery Aries and the connection between anger, inflammation, hot bloodedness and health, particularly in relation to Aries and the liver. We touch on unresolved anger as a potential cause of inflammation in the body, and how helping clients/patients identify and work through their anger can lead to improved health outcomes.
We also share some of our favorite ways of working with Aries remedy herbs, including Yarrow (for the “wounded healer”) and Vervain, including Yarrow flower essence as support for healthy energetic boundaries - a must for all healers!
Hawaiian goddesses Haumea and Pele make cameos just in time for Earth day on the 22nd, reminding us of the concept “pono” and restoring right relationship with our Selves, Mother Earth and the natural world.
In This Episode We Talk About:
Overview of April 19’s solar eclipse and new moon in Aries
The 29th degree of Aries as a charged and spiritually connected point, known as the anorectic degree - the solar eclipse occurring at this point could bring about change and karmic events on personal and collective levels
Boundaries and sovereignty in relation to Aries
The importance of putting out fires that do not serve us and establishing healthy boundaries
The current energies and how they relate to understanding our place in the collective whole
Possible turbulence coming from Mars being “out of bounds”
Self healing as collective healing for the whole
The transformative Art of Questioning: the importance of asking powerful questions, especially for practitioners
The connection between anger, inflammation, and health issues, particularly in relation to Aries and the liver
